The Falcons looked to bounce back from a previous loss two nights before as they traveled to Canton Central Catholic High School to play in the Hoops with a Heart Classic. Their opponent would be a well coached and highly disciplined Youngstown Ursuline team. After trailing most of the game by double digits the falcons went on a 4th quarter run and took a one point lead with a little more than a minute left in the contest. Unfortunately for Lutheran East they saw there hard fought comeback fall short as they loss by a final score of 60-57. Falcons Associate Head Coach Sam Liggins made his coaching debut as Lutheran East was without Head Coach Anthony Jones for this contest. The falcons next game is after the New Year against Collinwood High School on Tuesday January 3rd.
