Lutheran East Football's "Day of Giving" was an Incredible Success
The Lutheran East Football team and Corporate Search Consultants teamed up for their 2 nd Annual “Day
of Giving” on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Juniors and Seniors of the 2017 Football Team were gathered for
an opportunity to give back to the community by providing gifts and sharing happiness to the children of the
Cleveland Clinic Children’s Rehab facility. Lutheran East High School educates their students on selflessness,
humility, and gratefulness. The opportunity to share joyfulness throughout the holiday season embraces all of
their values while working with the wonderful children and staff of the CCF Rehab facility.
The football players picked out age appropriate gifts (ranging from 3 months to 17 years old) for their
special recipient. They purchased sensory toys, cause & effect toys, clothing, books, art & craft supplies, and of
course sports related fun! Partnering with Corporate Search Consultants, the team then wrapped their presents
and delivered to the children at the Rehab center. The team had a chance to tour the facility, play games with
the children, and bring smiles to many faces. The Seniors who participated were Mike King, Davarie Gilmore,
Devon Devezin, Jeff Hall, Lamont Landers, and Mykal Hart. The Juniors were Ivan Percy, Mike Broome IV, Mike
Broome V, Jeremiah Rice, Jayseasn Allison, Kanjae Smith, Michael Hall, and Sam Johnson. Thank you to all of
the great people at the CCF Children’s Rehab center, and have a warm holiday season!
