Lutheran East Football Wins on the Road
Lutheran East traveled to Vienna Matthews for a rare Thursday night game and came home with a victory. After a VM turnover, Lutheran East drove down the field and took an early lead after Daniel Brown ran it in for an 8-yard touchdown. The Lutheran East special teams unit then contributed by blocking a punt and taking it to the house for an early 12-0 lead. VM could never get back in the game, as Lutheran East added two more touchdowns for a 26-12 victory. Lutheran East's defense has been improving all year and looked dominant on the road this evening. The Falcons return to action looking for a winning streak at home on Saturday 10/20 at 1pm.
