Lady Falcons win 2OT Thriller!
Monday night was Senior night and the last regular season home game of the season for the Lady Falcons. The young ladies of the LUE wanted to close out their home season with a win against Bedford since tournament time is around the corner.
The first half highlighted the Lady Falcons going back and forth with the Lady Bearcats for the first 16 minutes of the game. The score at half time was 28 to 25.
After the halftime break, Bedford would go on their run. The Lady Falcons took the Lady Bearcats best shot as the tension grew towards the end of the second half. With seconds remaining, the Lady Bearcats couldn't close the deal at the buzzer, sending the game into overtime. It didn't take one but two overtimes for the Lady Falcons to win this intense final home game.
This win gives the Lady Falcons 12 wins in the books. Their final regular season game is Wednesday as they take on Maple Heights on Wednesday February 14th.
