An Introduction: Andrew Prusinski, Vice Principal of Enrollment and Development

Lutheran East Family and Friends,

I’d like to take a few minutes to introduce myself - not because I fancy myself as being very important, but rather because what God is doing at Lutheran East is of eternal importance. My story merges with Lutheran East’s about six years ago when I received a phone call from Principal Steinmann asking if I was open to a conversation about joining Lutheran East’s ministry as our “Dean of Students.” After that conversation and much prayer, I joined the efforts taking place 3565 Mayfield Road, and over the course of my first five years at Lutheran East we worked diligently to grow the school. This year we have been blessed to see enrollment climb all the way to 275 students! A growing school means new challenges and new opportunities, and with that I stepped into my new role as “Vice Principal of Enrollment and Development.”

I’m excited to move forward with Lutheran East in my new position and am especially excited to help connect you and our community to the good work that God is doing through Lutheran East. Whether that connection comes through regular newsletters like this one, over a cup of coffee or lunch, or here at the school for a choir concert, drama production, or sporting event, I want you to know about what’s going on at Lutheran East. I want you to know what’s going on in our halls because cities on hills cannot be hidden. God is working, lives are being changed, students are reaching new heights, and that’s a story worth sharing.

I know that many of you are reading this update far from Cleveland Heights and Lutheran East. If that’s you, I hope you can still feel connected through our website (www.lutheraneast.org), Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. We update our website and social media pages regularly with topics as simple as sports scores, as personal as teacher profiles, and as meaningful as chapel messages. Be connected!

If you reside in the greater Cleveland area, I’d like to extend an invitation for you to visit campus! There are great opportunities to stop by throughout the winter months by attending a sporting event or a Gospel Choir Concert - like the one coming up on Friday, December 16th. I want you to feel connected as well, and what better way than to see firsthand how the school is being transformed and how the school is transforming lives to the glory of God.

Whether near or far, I hope this newsletter finds you well. God’s blessings to you and your family during this season of preparation and celebration!
