The Boys Basketball team won the Regional Championship on Friday night and will be playing in the Final Four this week in Columbus! It is awesome to see their hard work pay off for this group of talented student-athletes. As a school, we are going to do all that we can so that our community can come out and support them as they play for the State Championship beginning Thursday evening. Our team plays on Thursday 3/23 at 5:15pm at the Schottenstein Center, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

We will have charter buses to take students, family, alumni, and fans down to the game on Thursday. We hope that we will have multiple buses bringing parents, fans, and students down to Columbus! Those buses will leave at 1:30pm. We have not charged for fan buses yet this school year- but we have to this week. The fan bus will cost $10. Additionally, a ticket to the game will cost $10 if bought at Lutheran East. We can only accept cash for tickets and bus seats. To be clear -a ticket to the game and a ride on the bus will cost $20 total.

We will begin selling tickets to the Semifinal game on Tuesday at 7:30am in the office. Tickets will be sold all day on Tuesday and up until 4pm on Wednesday. If you want a seat on the charter bus to and from Columbus, your ticket and bus cost must be paid on Tuesday. That is true for parents, students, and community members. We cannot sell seats on the bus after that, as we need to know a firm count of how many people to expect.

If we win, we will play again on Saturday at 2pm. Tickets for the Championship Game will not be for sale at the school - they will only be on sale in Columbus. Those who attend the game on Thursday will have the opportunity to buy them for $10 immediately following Thursday’s game. For that reason, all who attend should bring an extra $10 with them. Only cash is accepted for game tickets.
