Lady Falcon Comeback Falls Short
The Lady Falcons lost to the CCC Lady Ironmen in 3 sets today. The scores were 6-25, 24-26, and 13-25. The Lady Falcons played well with Marie Johnson as a setter in the first set. We started coming together toward the end of the first set but it was a little too late. In the second set the Lady Falcons played very well leading pretty much the entire set. The Lady Falcons had great net play. We were led in serving by Amber Campbell and Jeri Pollard in that set. The Lady Ironmen staged a big comeback and ended up winning the set 26-24. The third set the Lady Falcons played alright but just could not come up and pull it together after a rough ending to the second set. The team is back in action Wednesday at home versus Shaw.
