The Lutheran East Football team partnered with Corporate Search Consultants on Friday, March 11 for an inaugural Career Day. The purpose of the event was to give our student-athletes an education of Cleveland companies, industries, and job opportunities in order to give them an understanding of where they can/should align their educational careers. Eleven Seniors and Juniors toured manufacturing facilities, technology centers, and distribution centers and had an excellent opportunity to engage with business leaders, engineers and human resources professionals.

The student-athletes had the opportunity to learn about the operations of each organization and were able to see the manufacturing and testing of products firsthand. They were able to interact and discover key performance indicators that companies use for their long term strategies. In addition, they learned what it takes to become a successful member of a company’s team. Qualities such as a solid work ethic and commitment to the team, and characteristics like good communication and a positive attitude, were echoed within each organization.
