The Lady Falcons advanced their winning record to 4-2 last night in a hard fought battle with a much improved Fuchs Mizrachi. Both teams produced a lot of turnovers in the first half leaving only a 4 point lead for the Falcons at halftime. Lutheran East buckled down their defense in the 3rd quarter coming out in an aggressive full court press allowing them to jump to a quick 16 point lead in under 3 minutes. The Lady Falcons never looked back and finished with a 23 point victory. The team was led by Junior starters Darjaney Edwards, Jazmyne Darby and Jamara McDowell. Darjaney finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and an astounding 5 blocks. Jazmyne and Jamara threw in an additional 19 points and 9 points respectively and both finished with a team high 8 steals and 5 assists each. Senior Jeri Pollard controlled the glass with 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.
