The Falcons traveled to Troy Ohio this past weekend to take on the Troy Christian Eagles. The Eagles took an early 6-0 lead on their first drive, but the Falcons pulled even at the end of the 1st Quarter on an Isaiah Jackson TD run. TC responded, but Lutheran East followed up with a long Jackson to Bryce Harper TD to make the score 13-12 at the half. Right after half-time, Sophomore Trevonne Boyd picked up a fumble and returned it for a 70 yard TD to put the Lutheran East Falcons up 18-13. Troy Christian responded with a long 4th quarter TD pass to put the game away 20-18. The Falcons finish up their season at home on Saturday against Warrensville Heights.
