Fall Drama Production of Shakespearean One Acts is a Hit!
Fall Drama Production of Shakespearean One Acts is a Hit!

On Friday, November 13, The Lutheran East Drama Department presented two one act plays. The first play called Before Juliet: A Study of Love was the story of what happened to Romeo before he met Juliet. In the play, we met a very cunning and vicious Rosaline who actually attempted to have Romeo killed. The second play called Macbeth: A Tale of Darkness was the story of what else happened between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.

Students rehearsed tirelessly from the second week of September in preparation for the play. It was truly an excellent experience to behold. This was a student production in virtually every element with regard to everything from acting to the technical details. Students, parents and staff were all very excited to see the plays. The Drama Class is appreciative to have received so many compliments after their performance.
