Young Lady Falcons Fight Hard But Fall to Lake Ridge
Young Lady Falcons Fight Hard But Fall to Lake Ridge

The Lady Falcons took on a very solid Lake Ridge Academy team Thursday night at home. Lake Ridge came out the gate applying full court pressure. The Lady Falcons struggle with the the pressure initially spotting Lake Ridge 20 point plus lead early in the first quarter. The Lady Falcons adjusted to the pressure and battled back just to keep the game respectable going into the half. Lady Falcons down 22 points coming out of halftime came out with the gate with a different mindset, that this game was far from over. The Lady Falcons turned the heat up on Lake Ridge forcing turnovers and scoring in transition. The score board still showed a 20 point deficit for the Lady Falcons. The Lady Falcons started the fourth quarter as the score was zero to zero with fire and a passion unseen. Pressuring and throwing their bodies around the court trying to get loose balls the Lady Falcons put Lake Ridge back on their heels. The Lady Falcons eventually fell to Lake Ridge but not without a valiant effort. The Lady Lady Falcons fought and represented the Lutheran East body with pride until the finial buzzer Thursday night. The Lady Falcons definitely made me proud to be a Falcon. The final score was Lady Falcons 55 Lake Ridge 68. Jasmine Johnson led the way with 15 points followed by Gabby Owens with 11.
