Richmond Heights 81, Lutheran East 66
Lutheran East took on #2 Seeded Richmond Heights in the opening round of the OHSAA District Tournament last night at Garfield Heights. The Falcons fought hard but could not contain the elite athleticism on display from Richmond Heights. The Falcons took an early lead, but turnovers allowed Richmond Heights to start running and they never looked back. The Falcons made a run in the second half after big baskets by Brandon Rivers and Dante Brye, but never cut the deficit below 10. Matt Hardnick led the team with 16 points and Brandon Rivers had 15 points and 3 assists.
