Volleyball Can't Hang On in Final Regular Season Game
The Lady Falcons celebrated Senior Night on Monday against Heritage Christian. The team came out on fire against a strong Heritage team. Led by Seniors Torrie Simmons, Shakenna Johnson, Shelly Gates, Jermaine Coleman, and Jaelin Johnson, the Falcons took an early lead. Heritage Christian came storming back to take the lead until Freshman Brittany Holloway's work at the net put in end to their streak. After a back-and-forth game, the Falcons fell 25-20. Despite continued great efforts from Shakenna Johnson and Brittany Holloway, the Falcons just couldn't pull out the match. The Lady Falcons practice the rest of this week in preparation for their state tournament match on Saturday (10/20) against Our Lady of the Elms. That match will be at Medina High School at 5pm.
