Our teachers are the difference.
Every day, students and their families benefit from the quality education provided by the dedicated faculty and staff members at Lutheran East.
This spring, we’re undergoing a special fundraising effort in tribute to our faculty & staff (past and present) who have encouraged, guided, and inspired so many students throughout the years. Gifts made to this initiative will directly support the enhancement of teacher-utilized spaces at Lutheran East.
“My teachers at Lutheran East saw potential in me when I didn’t see it in myself. Because of them, I grew not only as a student, but in my confidence and character.”
Taylor Riggs, Class of 2026

The Need
Since enrollment has grown to 425 students and every classroom in the building is now used during every period of the day, teachers no longer have their own dedicated classrooms but instead travel between classrooms throughout the day.
Your donation to this fundraising initiative will help to enhance teacher-utilized spaces, including the teachers’ lounge and work room, where teachers grade assignments, work on student/parent communication, plan lessons, collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators, and recharge between their classes.
“For me, being a educator encapsulates so much more than just teaching content: it includes informing youth about the world around them, helping them form opinions, and fostering community amongst one another. Teaching at Lutheran East allows me to be an active character in so many kids’ stories. I continuously look forward to coming to work and seeing how our kids grow!”
– Ms. Charley Davis, English Teacher
